Growth behaviour of an L929 fibroblast cell culture
Observation of the L929 cell line with the zenCELL owl. Over the course of 65 hours, numerous division processes lead to the formation of a confluent cell monolayer. Typically, the fibroblast cells detach from the substrate surface for the cell division process, carry out cell division and the resulting daughter cells adhere to the substrate again. The ability of L929 cells to migrate on the substrate can be seen sporadically.
